Lueckenhoff, age 59, of St. Elizabeth, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. He was born in Jefferson City on July 27, 1959, son of the late Robert “Bob” and Mildred (Borgmeyer) Lueckenhoff. Curtis was a 1977 graduate of St. Elizabeth High School. Following high school, he attended and graduated from CMSU in 1981. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He worked for Department of Natural Resources as the organic chemistry unit supervisor for 36 years. Curtis was a proud member of the NRA, St. Elizabeth Knights of Columbus and St. Lawrence Catholic Church in St. Elizabeth. He is survived by three sisters, Carol Plank (Bill) of Marys Home, Sandy Lueckenhoff of Jefferson City, and Ann Wieberg (Ivan) of St. Elizabeth; nephew, Ethan Wieberg (Jessica); niece, Kaitlin Wieberg; step-nephew, Bill Plank Jr. (Beth); great-niece, Millie Wieberg; and close family friend, Elizabeth Conley. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 18, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in St. Elizabeth with Fr. Joby Thomas officiating. Interment will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery in St. Elizabeth. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., with prayer service at 7 p.m., on Sunday, March 17, at the St. Elizabeth Community Center. Memorial contributions are suggested to Hope Lodge in St. Louis.
