Clara Jo Slater 75, of Moberly died Wednesday evening, March 6, 2019. She was born to Sam and Corine (Bryant) Timbrook on March 24, 1943 in Moberly, MO. She married Jack Lee Slater, July 21, 1961 in Moberly, MO and he preceded her in death February 15, 2013. Also preceding her in death were her parents and a sister, Joyce Sneed. Survivors include her son, Randy Slater and his wife Diann of Viola, IL; a daughter, Candace Roark and her husband Jeff of Independence, KS; 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandsons, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Words of comfort and support may be shared with the family at the visitation which will be Sunday March 10, 2019 from 2-4pm at the Cater Funeral Home. Services honoring and celebrating Clara’s life will be Monday March 11, 2019, 10:30am in the Cater Funeral Home Chapel. Committal prayers and burial will follow at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
