Cherie’s Obituary Cheryl “Cherie” Ann Prep, 56, passed peacefully at home and went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 10, 2019 surrounded by family and friends; beloved wife of Timothy Prep of West Chester/Monroe, OH; cherished daughter of Harold and Dora Smith of The Villages, Florida; loving mother of son Bradley Gifford of Corryton, TN and daughter Danielle Green (Kurtis Green) of Monroe, OH; proud Nana of Alexis Gifford, Alyssa Gifford and Aubriella Green; and sister to Jeffery Smith (Donna) and Bruce Smith (Peggy); and daughter-in-law to Mary-Lou Przepyszny; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and a multitude of close friends. Cherie lived a beautiful, fun and loving life. She was involved in numerous activities, one of her favorites being Yoga with the American Cancer Society. Cherie fought cancer courageously for over 2.5 years and never gave up her hope. Her laughter was incredibly infectious and her smile could light up a room. Her beautiful blue eyes attracted the attention of anyone she met. She enjoyed working with children in a latchkey program touching many young children’s lives. She was a Mary Kay consultant for many years, even earning a Mary Kay car. She was family oriented, loved the holidays and was the glue that held the family together. She will be very missed by all. Visitation will be held at Christ’s Church, 5165 Western Row Road, Mason, OH 45040 on Thursday, March 14, 2019 from 4pm-8pm. Services will be held at Christ’s Church on Friday, March 15, 2019 at 10:30am followed by procession to Rest Haven Memorial Park, 10209 Plainfield Road, Blue Ash, OH 45241.
