Charlene Kay Tessmer March 20, 1949 – March 01, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Age 69, of Romulus, formerly of Taylor, died peacefully with her family by her side early Friday morning, March 1 , 2019. Charlene is the beloved wife of the late Ronald (d. 1997); loving mother of Jemes (Julie) Collins of Taylor, Tia (David) Ma of Novi and Tamarra Getty of Romulus. Mrs. Tessmer is also survived by her ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild and siblings, Marcia (Jimmy) Hyde of Tennessee and Tom (Cynthia) Getty of Romulus. Mrs. Tessmer was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Ypsilanti Ward) and also enjoyed painting and spending time with her grandchildren. In keeping with Mrs. Tessmer’s wishes, a simple cremation has been arranged. No public services will be held at this time. Thank you for keeping Charlene in your thoughts and prayers.
