Brian L. Currie, 56, of Anderson, passed away on March 17, 2019 after an extended illness. He was born on July 13, 1962 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Brian graduated from the University of Cincinnati, and was a life-long fan of the Bearcats, Bengals, and Reds. He worked for BI, Inc. for 34 years and most recently was the Business Development Director. Brian is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Bette Anne Currie; daughter, Amanda Currie; and parents, Ronald and Delores Currie. Also surviving are his siblings, Scott Currie, Susan (Kevin) Bossman, and Craig (Michelle) Currie; mother-in-law, Bette (Steve) Seaton; aunt and uncle, Gail and Larry Smith; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many close friends including Todd Smith, Lori Spencer and others with whom he golfed, played poker, and worked. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; father-in-law, Frederick Wright; and sister-in-law, Julianne Currie. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 31, 2019, 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson, IN. A Celebration of Life will follow visitation at 4:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Brian’s name to a scholarship fund being established by his employer or to the Christian Center in Anderson. www.loosecares.com.
