Barry’s Obituary BARRY CRAIG CONLEY, 60 of Narrows, VA, passed away Monday, March 25, 2019. He was born at Bluefield, WV, the son of Ezra Roscoe & Geneva Palmer Conley. He lived his life with Muscular Dystrophy. He enjoyed his life and lived it on his terms. He attended New River Community College for 4 years. He enjoyed NASCAR and was a Bill Elliot and Chase Elliot fan. He loved football, especially the Miami Dolphins and Virginia Tech Hokies. He loved all children. He was preceded in death by his father, Ezra Roscoe Conley and a brother, Jerry Conley. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Geneva Palmer Conley; one brother, Joey Conley; two sisters, Sherrie & Mike Hazelwood and Karen Townsend; nieces and nephews, Amanda Hazelwood, Jacob Hazelwood, C.J. Townsend and Kayla Townsend; and three great-nephews, Mark, David and Scott. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 29, 2019 at 4:00 P.M. at The King’s Way Church, Wolf Creek, with Pastor Tony Robertson officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 P.M. until service time, 4:00 P.M. Per his wishes, Barry will be cremated following the services and his family will lay him to rest privately. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in his honor to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The Conley family is in the care of A.
