Anthony S Tony Blaze 1971 2019

Obituary of Anthony S. Blaze Although Tony was quiet, he was a very generous and caring man, who would give you the shirt off his back. Tony was born in Buffalo and raised in Hamburg. He was proud of his home town and loved hockey and his Buffalo Sabres. Tony served three years in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise in Norfolk. Tony and his father were very close, like two peas in a pod. They took care of each other after Tony returned home from the Navy. They both shared a love of nature and the great outdoors. His father had built a cabin in Ellicottville where they spent a lot of their time hunting and fishing. Tony also loved bird watching. As a kid he looked at bird books and would walk around the cabin property trying to identify them as well as plants and footprints of animals. Besides his love of nature, Tony loved animals. One of his best “furry” friends was named Jack. a Jack Russell/Pomeranian mix whom he loved dearly. Being an outdoorsman, Tony hated things like computers and cell phones, and would try and stay away from them. He loved to listen to rock-n-roll music by some of the greats like Journey, Boston, Foreigner, and The Eagles and was always up for a game of pool. Tony was close to everyone that he knew and was loved by all. He was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Nancy Blaze. He is survived by his sister Aileen and brother-in-law Thomas Byrd, and was a devoted uncle to their children, Amanda and Joshua, and great-uncle to their grandchildren Addison, Thomas, Elyssa, and Alivia. He was very close to his uncles, Frankie and Johnny Belosevic and Patrick and Timothy Young.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Anthony S Tony Blaze 1971 2019.
