Anthony Gilbert “Tony” Tomlin was born in Kennett, MO on September 25, 1956. He departed this life on March 8, 2019 at the age of 62. He attended schools in St. Louis & Caruthersville, MO. On June 19, 1988 in Decatur County, Tennessee he was united in marriage to Donna Rexanna Blankenship. Tony was employed as an Industrial Mechanic with the Cupples Rubber Company for many years. His interests and hobbies consisted of playing the guitar, singing, fishing, drawing, telling jokes and laughing, working on his vehicles, and loved having a cold beer with his friends. He is survivied by his wife: Donna Tomlin of Caruthersville, MO; six sons: Josh Tomlin of Tiptonville, TN, John Tomlin of Wildersville, TN, Jeremy Gibson of Parsons, TN, Osby G. Tomlin of O’Fallon, MO, Terry McPeake of Caruthersville, MO, and Mark Keeton of Caruthersville, MO; two daughters, Janea Fowler of Tiptonville, TN and Tomera Hall of Wildersville, TN; 26 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brother, Colin Huckaba of Caruthersville, MO; sister, Colleen Rodriquez of Eldon, MO; and a number of other relatives and many, many friends.
