Ann Patricia Pollock September 22, 1966 – March 12, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card A Memorial Service for Ann Patricia Pollock, 52, of Laddonia, will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Bienhoff Funeral Home in Laddonia with Pastor Dave Wendt officiating. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Ann passed away at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at University Hospital in Columbia. She was born in Keokuk, IA on September 22, 1966, the daughter of Dwight William and Patricia Jean Danford Handyside. She married Kurt Hester in Warsaw, IL in October 1996 and he preceded her in death. She married James Edward Pollock in Farber on July 2, 2016 and he survives. Other survivors include: her father Dwight Handyside of Mendon, IL; two sons, Wade Allen and Wesley Andrew Hester of Laddonia; two brothers, John (Patty) Handyside of Hannibal and Tom (Sheila) Handyside of Warsaw, IL; and one sister, Sally (Keith) Miller of Warsaw, IL. She was preceded in death by her mother and one brother, Dwight (Dan) Handyside. Ann moved to the area in 2016. She was a member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ in Keokuk. She was very active in the Great River Players and directed high school plays in Keokuk and Warsaw. She was very active in her children’s activities at Community R-6 High School. She worked as a para professional for several years at Keokuk Sr. High and had a prior job at Methode Electronics. She loved her family and helping people. Honorary pallbearers will be her nieces and nephews. An additional Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on March 23, 2019 at the United Church of Christ in Keokuk, IA with Reverend Milo Van Veldhuizen officiating.
