Garza of Fredericksburg, Texas, passed away in his home on Monday, March 11th, 2019 at the age of 85 years. Mr. Garza is survived by the following, his wife, Guadalupe Ferrer Garza of Fredericksburg Three sons, one daughter, Francisco & Veronica Garza of Fredericksburg Juanita Garza of San Antonio George & Ashley Garza of Fredericksburg Moises Saucedo of Fredericksburg Six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren Two sisters, Clarita & Victor Hernandez of San Antonio Candelaria & Leon Rivers of Fredericksburg Rosary services will be held on Thursday evening at 6:00 P.M. in the Schaetter Funeral Home in Fredericksburg. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, March 15th, 2019 at 11:30 A.M. in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fredericksburg, with Father John Nolan officiating. Graveside services and interment will follow in the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Fredericksburg. Those who so desire may make memorial contributions in his memory to the Alzheimer’s Asso., American Heart Asso., or to the charity oif their choice. Visitation for Amelio Garza will be Thursday afternoon from 5 to 7:00 P. M. and on Friday morning from 7 to 11:15 A.M. in the Schaetter Funeral Home in Fredericksburg.
