Vilma A. (Picard) McDonnell, 88, a retired senior clerk for the State of RI passed away Thursday, September 6, 2018 at the Sunnyview Nursing Home in Warwick. She was the wife of the late Walter S. McDonnell. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Roland W. and Anna C. (Murphy) Picard. Vilma was the sister of the late Eugene J. Picard and Florence M. McNally. Her funeral will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
