Obituary of Paula Hidalgo Paula Marie Karney Hidalgo, 70, of Lower Swatara Twp., died Monday, September 10, 2018 in UPMC Pinnacle Harrisburg Hospital. She was of the Catholic faith, a loving Mother, Grandmother and Sister; loved jazz music; enjoyed traveling the world; and spending time with family and friends. Paula was the daughter of the late Frank S. and Maxine Moon Kearney. She is survived by two daughters, Heather (Mohamed) and Sabrina (Hicham); three grandchildren, Ilyas, Nora and Samia; one sister, Sylvia (George) Marroquin; one nephew, Kevin (Kwang) Marroquin; one niece, Kelly; and great niece and great nephew, Ethan and Emma. She was preceded in death by her parents and stepmother, Phyllis Karney. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 2:00 pm in Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 357 S. Second St., Steelton with Deacon Miguel Marroquin officiating. Burial will be in Churchville Cemetery, Oberlin. A viewing will be held on Friday from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm in the funeral home.
