OBITUARY Gary Edward Ignash April 27, 1951 – August 30, 2018 Gary Edward Ignash, age 67, of Port Hope, Michigan passed away on Thursday August 30, 2018. Gary was born on April 27, 1951 in Detroit Michigan, to Alger & Irene (Gorkowski) Ignash. He is now joined again in heaven with his parents, Alger and Irene Ignash, sister Rosemary Ignash, and brother Stephen Ignash Gary was kind and loving man who always made people smile, and laugh. He always had a smile on his face and something funny to say. He loved to hunt with family members and enjoyed taking trips on his Indian Motorcycle across the state. One of Gary’s passions was spending time with his family & friends; it didn’t make a difference if it was spending time on the farm, polka dancing, or going to the local bar to sing karaoke. Gary retired from Ford after working 30 years. He was very active with the UAW and the Patriot Guard Riders for veterans. He loved to organize and execute family get together especially his road rally’s. If you ever needed a helping hand Gary was the first one to offer. He would drop whatever he was doing to help others out. Above all else, the thing he loved the most was making memories and traditions with his daughter; Sara, grandson; Noah, and son-in-law; Dave. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter Sara (Ignash) Jay, son-in-law David Jay, and grandson; Noah. He is also survived by his brothers; Larry (Chris) Ignash, and Daniel (Vicki) Ignash. Sisters; Patricia Ignash, Karen Ignash and Peggy (Ken) Dudley. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He will always be remembered by his very large loving family.
