Obituary of Maria Rossi Maria Cristina Rossi, 88, of Princeton died Friday, August 31, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Pettoranello DiMolise, Italy she has been a resident of Princeton since 1965. She was a member of St. Paul’s Church and the Altar Rosary Society. Maria loved to bake and most of all spend time with her loving family. Daughter of the late Nicola and Cristina (Pirone) Tamasi, sister of the late Modestina DeBaggis, she is survived by her husband of 68 years Gino Rossi, son and daughter in law, Vito and Mary Lynn Rossi, 2 daughters and 2 sons in law Micki and Vince Matticoli, Bina and John Cifelli, 10 grandchildren and their spouse Jim and Emily Matticoli, Tony Matticoli, Dave and Aileen Matticoli, Vince and Anna Cifelli, Mark and Nicole Cifelli, Diane VanEmbden, Gene and Lauren Rossi, Lisa and Chris Dressel, John Rossi and Nicolle DeLuca, Christina Rossi and Justin Davies, 16 greatgrandchildren Joey, Max, Antonio, Dominick, Gia, Alyssa, Vincent, Nicholas, Amelia, Luciana, Savannah, Gino, Julianna, Ava, Claire, Ryan, sister in law and her husband Giovanna and Achille Nini, cherished friends Jesse and Joe Mangone, several nieces and nephews, and caregiver Olesya and all the caregivers of Vitas Hospice. The Funeral will be held 8:30 am on Saturday, September 8, 2018 from the Mather-Hodge Funeral Home 40 Vandeventer Avenue, Princeton. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 am, St. Paul’s Church 216 Nassau Street, Princeton. Burial will follow in the Princeton Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday Evening from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
