Obituary for Eusebio Gomez, Jr. Eusebio (Chevy/Chevo) Gomez Jr., passed to be with The Lord at Arlington Memorial Hospital September 8, 2018 in Arlington, TX at the age of 64. Eusebio was born on May 27, 1954 in Laredo, TX. He married Maria M. Ramirez in 1977. After moving to Dallas, TX. Eusebio began as a Custom Cabinet Carpenter. Over 41 years of marriage the couple welcomed 5 children in their home. Eusebio set about teaching them respect, responsibility, honesty, respect and moral values. His children remember him as a strong, hard-working, devoted and responsible husband and father, who encouraged them to reach their goal and pursue an education. He is best described as a dedicated and generous individual who always thought of others before himself, who loved social drinking and was passionate about his Carpentry Profession, gambling, and dancing. Eusebio is survived by his wife Maria M. Gomez. Children: Cynthia Ann (Alejandro) Romero, Griselda (Armando) Canales, Yvonne (Juan Manuel) Ortiz, Jose Alfredo (Elizabeth) Gomez, Jorge Alberto (Victoria) Gomez, Carmen Veronica Rodriguez. Siblings: Jose Guadalupe Gomez (Brother), Emma R. Rivera (Sister), and Anna Maria Ramos (Sister) 24 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. The Family would like to give special thanks to Ester Gomez, Judy, Carlos, Martha, Nancy, Linda, Pat, Brittany Edwards and all staff from Heritage Oaks Nursing Facility as well all staff at U.S. Renal Care Dialysis Facility with special thanks for his dialysis nurse, Norma, and for all their efforts, care and dedication. For those who dedicated their time and effort to show Eusebio and his family the love and compassion the received during a time of need, the family will be forever grateful.
