OBITUARY Barry Michael Stevens July 22, 1948 – September 28, 2018 LYNN – Barry “Cuda” Michael Stevens, 70, a lifelong resident of Lynn, passed away on Friday, September 28, 2018 at Mass General Hospital. Born in Lynn, Barry was the beloved son of the late Richard and Mary (O’Malley) Stevens. He was the loving father of Michael Stevens and his wife, Kammy of Newton, NH formerly of Lynn, Scott Stevens, with whom he lived in Lynn and Wendy Culpepper and her husband, Evan of Myrtle Beach, SC; and the cherished grandfather of Connor, Joshua, Kadence, and Owen Stevens and EJ and Evie Culpepper and the former husband of Joann (Mannell) Stevens of Myrtle Beach. Barry graduated from Lynn English High School with the Class of ’66 and served in the US Army in Vietnam during the Vietnam War. He worked as a manager at Kohl’s in Saugus for over 14 years prior to his retirement. Barry enjoyed golf, visiting his grandchildren locally and in Myrtle Beach, watching their sporting events, and sitting in the sun shirtless. Barry’s funeral will be held from the CUFFE-McGINN Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn on Wednesday, October 3rd, at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Pius V Church, 215 Maple St. , Lynn. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, October 2nd, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
