Sandi Gene Severs 1972 2017

Obituary for Sandi Severs Sandi Gene Severs, 45, of Morocco, passed away at his home on Monday, August 21, 2017. He was born in Brook on June 21, 1972, the son of Howard Eugene Severs and Patricia Mae (Schoon) Severs. He graduated from North Newton High School with the Class of 1990. Sandi worked as a mechanic and ran the pugmill at the Newton County Landfill. He was a member of Local Union 150. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, horseback riding, and deer hunting. He enjoyed spending time with his children and taking his son, Zack, to watch motocross races. Sandi is survived by his two children, Zackery Stephen “Zack” Severs and Lilly Ann Severs; his parents, Howie and Pat Severs; brother, Jeremy Donald Severs (wife: Heather); sister, Latisha Rae Rainford (husband: Kevin); and maternal grandmother, Melrose Schoon. He was preceded in death by: his paternal grandparents, Donald and Betty Severs; and his maternal grandfather, Lloyd Schoon. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Saturday, August 26, 2017 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. (CDT) at the Beaver Township Community Center, 409 S. Polk Street, Morocco, IN 47963. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 12 p.m. at the Beaver Township Community Center with Pastor John Hill officiating. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Steinke Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
