The Mother Odessa Marie Peete was born March 20, 1937, to the late Cassie and Mary Peete in Stanton, Tennessee. She was the eighth of nine children, six who preceded her in death and one granddaughter (April Peete). She departed this beautiful life July 19, 2018. She was a member at Pentecostal Temple COGIC. In the early 1970’s she met the late Bishop Willie Frazier and Mother Martha Frazier who would become her Pastor and First Lady. She served as a volunteer usher, a former member of the Adult Choir and for many years she was the one who prepared the communion. She also was a member of the motherboard. She was loved and showed love to all that came in contact with her. She leaves her four loving children; Kenneth (Jeanie) Peete, Pamela (William) Swinton and Barry (Quida) Peete all of Memphis, Tennessee and Glenda Peete of Mason, Tennessee. She also leaves twelve grandchildren; Marcus Stephen, Jason Peete, Andre (Celeste) Peete. Damon Nesbitt, Barry Peete, Jr., Marcus Peete, Terika Peete, Kena Peete, Danielle Peete, April Swinton, Latericka Cox, and G’Andre Fields. Also eleven great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and church members. She also had three godchildren; Christian Reeser, Will Reeser and John Peter Reeser. She also leaves to cherish loving memories, two sisters; Dorothy Sidney of Decatur, Illinois and Shirley Richard of Memphis, Tennessee.
