Obituary for Myrtle Rape (Parker) Myrtle Louise Rape, 98, of Monroe, passed away Monday, July 23, 2018. Myrtle was born July 9, 1920 to the late Stafford Miller Parker and Lillie Blanche Krimminger. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Winfred Rape. Funeral service will be held 2:00pm Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC. 28112. Interment will be at Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00pm until 2:00pm. She is survived by two sons, Winfred Dennis Rape, wife Pat and Charles Miller Rape, wife Mary Ann both of Monroe, five grandchildren Michael, Mark, Tim, Eric and Michelle and eleven great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to be made to Hospice of Charlotte, 7845 Little Ave, Charlotte, NC 28226 or Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 2524 Stack Rd, Monroe, NC 28112.
