Obituary for Louis Ohland Jr. Louis F. Ohland, Jr. age 77 of Beloit, WI died on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Beloit Memorial Hospital. He was born in Beloit, WI on March 22, 1941, the son of the late Louis F. and Lorraine D. (Yandry) Ohland, Sr. Louis graduated from Beloit Memorial High School and later married Karen L. Wolfram on August 20, 1958 in Rockford, IL. Louis worked for over 32 years at the former Beatrice Foods in Beloit. Louis was an avid outdoors person throughout the year. He coursed the swamps and fields for game birds, fox, and deer. Using waders, canoe, or kayak, he fished for bass to salmon. When not in the field, he competed in match pistol, Long Range Black Powder, Rimfire Silhouette, Offhand Rimfire Match, Benchrest, and Archery. He was very active with the Beloit Rifle Club, serving as past president and board member. He was a member of Trout Unlimited, NRA, and other state and national hunting and fishing organizations. Louis is survived by his wife Karen; and four children: Kelly (Martin) Lawver, Kristine (Joseph) Iaquinto, Louis Ohland III, LTC, USAR (ret.), and Angela Cahan; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his mother and father, he was predeceased by his step-mother: Gerri Ohland. No services are planned at this time.
