Obituary for Gloria Foster Gloria Foster, 94, of Gloversville, died Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at Nathan Littauer Hospital Nursing Home. Born in Gloversville, September 17, 1923, she was the daughter of Frank and Bertha Catanzaro Fernandez. Gloria was a veteran of the United States Navy and was co-owner of Fosters Aluminum Co. of Gloversville with her late husband, Henry, who died in 1994. She was a member of the American Heart Association and a communicant of Church of the Holy Spirit. Survived by her children, Craig (Vicki) Foster of Caroga Lake, Mark (Martha) Foster of Rochester, New York, Martin (Tracy) Foster of Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, Matthew (Linda) Foster of Placentia, California and Devon Horne of Albany, New York; brother, Frank (Anna) Fernandez of Gloversville; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by her sisters, Janet Coon, Rosalyn Paxton, Marie and Frances Dosso. Friends may call Monday, January 29, 2018, from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at the Amico Funeral Home, 150 South Main Street, Gloversville, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian burial at Church of the Holy Spirit. Interment to follow in Ferndale Cemetery, Johnstown.
