OBITUARY Ms. Carol W Ramos January 5, 1946 – July 25, 2018 Carol Wilson Ramos, 72, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at the Highland Home in Ridgeland. Visitation will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM and on Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM with funeral services to follow. Interment will be at Lakewood Memorial Park. Mrs. Ramos was born on January 5, 1946 in Greenville, MS. She worked alongside her husband as a bookkeeper and administrator for his business. She also worked for many years for the Home Builders Association of Jackson. She was a member of Providence Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Ramos loved her family and friends dearly, but her grandchildren held a special place in her heart. She enjoyed working in her beautiful yard, loving on her dogs, doing jigsaw puzzles, going antique and flea market shopping, and remodeling and decorating her home. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lorenzo Ramos; parents, Arthur and Evelyn Phillips Wilson; sisters, Mary Wilson Smith and Margaret Wilson Schooler. Mrs. Ramos is survived by her son, Ray Ramos (Paula); daughter, Renee Cotton (Dennis); grandchildren, Chance and Connor Cotton, Dallas Ramos; and special caregiver, Bea Ellis. The family appreciates the support of the friends, loved ones and church members who showed their support during her extended illness.
