Obituary for Ann Williams Services for Ann Williams, 73, of Tyler will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Heights Church with Pastor Doug Anderson and Pastor Jerry Hanson officiating. Burial will follow at Williams Cemetery in New Chapel Hill under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home. Mrs. Williams passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Tyler on Wednesday morning, July 11, 2018. She was born June 2, 1945 in Overton, TX to Nelson and Mary Glenice Blankenship of Arp. Ann was a member of Rose Heights Church where she taught Sunday school in the 1980’s, sang in the church choir and served on the Mission Board for many years. She graduated from Arp High School in 1963 and from Tyler Junior College with a one-year Degree in Business in 1964. She married Floyd T. Williams on January 24, 1969. Through the years, she held secretarial positions with Gulf States Telephone, Loggins Meat Company and Howe-Baker Engineers as well as being a homemaker. She also enjoyed volunteering at Overton and Troup Nursing Homes as a beautician. Ann was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren when she wasn’t enjoying traveling through the U.S. with her husband in their RV. Ann was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving family including her husband of 49 years, Floyd T. Williams; son, Todd Williams and wife Teresa of Tyler; daughter, Tara Lemmel and husband Chad of Arp; grandchildren, Johnathon Williams, Noah Williams and Liam Lemmel; sister, Glenda Baird of Arp and a host of extended family and friends. Pallbearers will be Kevin Watkins, Logan Watkins, Bill Taylor, David Adams, Chipper Hugghins and Peyton Hugghins. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Wayne Allen and Billy Vernon. Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to the service at Rose Heights Church located at 2120 Old Omen Road, Tyler, TX. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society 1301 S.
