Obituary of Vincent Zakarosky Vince Zakarosky, of Potomac Falls, Virginia, formerly of Tamaqua, PA, passed away peacefully at his home on May 24, 2018, at age 80. Vince was born on June 27, 1937, in Shenandoah, PA to the late Bill and Helen (Rasimas) Zakarosky. In 1985, he was predeceased by his loving wife of 26 years, Frieda (Oliphant) Zakarosky. Vince graduated from Tamaqua High School and briefly served in the U.S. Navy. He then bravely served his country through a long and distinguished career in the Central Intelligence Agency. Vince is survived by his daughter Michele Zakarosky, his daughter Lisa (Zakarosky) Marcantonio (John), and his grandchildren Vince, Olivia, and Matthew Marcantonio, as well as nieces and nephews. Vince happily spent his retirement devoted to his family as a dedicated father and doting grandfather. Arrangements are private.
