Obituary for Cynthia “Cindy” Malson (Hill) Cynthia “Cindy” D. Hill Malson, 54, of New Martinsville, WV died Monday, May 7, 2018 as the result of an automobile accident. Cindy was born January 3, 1964 in New Martinsville, WV; daughter of Francis and Judy (Anthony) Hill of New Martinsville, WV. She was a CNA for Genesis, graduate of Magnolia High School Class of 1982, she loved her family along with her animals, was a great cook and becoming a gardener. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, David and Gladys Anthony; paternal grandparents, Ruth and Ken Hill and father-in-law, Gene Malson. Surviving in addition to her parents are her husband, James “Dennie” Malson of New Martinsville, WV; her beloved daughter, Rachel Lynne Newlin and her fiancé Cole Bowling of Columbus, OH; two brothers, Daniel Hill of Highlands, TX and Michael Hill of Newark, OH; sister, Rebecca (Anthony) Hill Haney of Bloomington, IL; mother-in-law, Ruth F. Malson of New Martinsville, WV; two step-children, Denzil and Desiree Malson both of St. Clairsville, OH; eight nieces and nephews, Shane, Ryan, Claire, Christian, Truitt, Cuttler, Carriegan and Cash; two great-nephews; a great-niece; feline, Marvin; grand-dog, Maverick and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends received 2-8 p.m., Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, WV where service will be held 2 p.m., Friday, May 11, 2018. Interment to be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made, in Cindy’s name, to Wetzel County Animal Shelter, 399 Mollahan Dr., New Martinsville, WV 26155.
