Cody Richard Mattei, 32 beloved son, grandson, father, brother, uncle, nephew and friend passed away at his home on April 27, 2018. He is preceded in death by his dad Kent Meyer. He is survived by his mom Tracey Meyer and father Richard Mattei, his son Cody Drake Mattei and brother Jessy Meyer. Cody was a beautiful and smart son. He loved his son, Cody Drake Mattei, his dad and brother Jessy. He loved the outdoors, fishing, kayaking, playing basketball, working out and spending time in the mountains. Cody loved spending time with his son and his brother. Cody’s favorite spots for fishing were Causey Dam and East Canyon Reservoir and the Weber River. Cody had a gift of talking to people about any subject. Cody had lots of passions. He loved being a dad, brother and son. Cody loved working on cars with his dad and brother. He even talked about living off the land in the mountains. We will miss you every day and you will be in our hearts forever. We are comforted knowing you are with all your family and friends that have gone before us. There will be a celebration of Cody’s life on May 5th 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Memorial campground area C, just below Causey Dam. Family and friends are welcome.
