Timus R Williams Sr 2018

Timus Raymond Williams, devoted husband, father, brother, and friend, went to be with his Lord Jesus in glory. Timus was born March 31, 1961 in Brooklyn, NY and spent his childhood in the Bronx. Timus attended Central State University in Ohio, majoring in music. He came back to New York City where he met Estelle Owens and they were married on November 2, 1985. The call to ministry led Timus to the Salvation Army, where he and his wife were ordained as Pastors in June 1992. He was Chaplin of his class session. He was also Chaplin of the Trotwood Police Department, where he received a distinguished service award from the Mayor. Timus felt a call to minister in San Antonio, Texas, and moved there in February 2000 to start their own church In His Presence Ministries. He and Estelle were ordained again as pastors with the Evangelical Christian Church. Soon after, Timus received his B.A in Religious Education. Timus had a love for Sports (Dallas Cowboys, San Antonio Spurs, and the New York Yankees). He had a great appreciation for all types of music, but loved Jazz the most. He also loved weightlifting and movies. Timus was preceded in death by his parents Jerry Lee and Emily Crooks. Timus is survived by his wife Estelle, his children Alexis, Maya, Timus Jr, Grace, his 11 grandchildren, 2 sisters Ave Maria Crooks and Jerrolyn Crooks De Garcia, and 1 niece and nephew. The family would like to thank all for the prayers and support during this difficult time. We are truly blessed to have you all in our lives.
