William Billy Dionne 2018

Kingston NH – Dionne, William “Billy” It is with great sadness that the family of William E. Dionne, known by many as “Billy” announces his tragic passing on May 26, 2018 after drowning in Country Pond, Kingston, NH at the age of 47. Billy grew up and lived most of his life in Kingston and its surrounding towns. He spent & enjoyed several of his earlier years traveling & working for a local carnival based in Brentwood NH as a ride mechanic and operator as well as a vast variety of other tasks needing to be done. After starting a family he began a long career as a carpet installer & more recently working in the rock crushing business for a local company. Billy will always be remembered for his strong work ethic, anyone will tell you what a hard worker he was and no job was too big or small as he did whatever needed to be done. Billy always looked forward to family cookouts and loved spending time at his Meme’s on Pawtuckaway Lake. Some of his fondest memories are of his time there; it truly was one of his favorite places to be. He enjoyed snowmobiling, swimming, fishing, BBQ’s & spending time with friends. Most of all he enjoyed making others laugh but it was his laugh we will all remember, it could be heard across the lake & if you pause and listen I’m sure you can still hear it echoing in the distance. He will be greatly missed by all who came to know him. Billy also loved a good poem and was known to even write a few himself. The following was one of his favorites: Do Not Stand at my Grave and Weep By Mary Elizabeth Frye Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there; I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow, I am the sun on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning’s hush I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there; I did not die. He was predeceased by a brother, Bruce “BJ” Dionne. Billy is survived by three children, Johnathan, Tyler, and Star, his father, Bruce Dionne & wife Ellie, mother, Noella Kelley, sister, Sherry Dionne, sister, Heather Kelley, & nephew, Zachary Berube. A private family graveside service will be held at the New Pine Grove Cemetery in Raymond, NH. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be planned for all his friends in the very near future In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the charity of ones choice
