Dexter Ray “Buck” King, 68, of Seymour passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2018. He was a man of Christian faith who loved his family dearly. Buck could often be found working around the yard or tinkering on his computer. He had a great affinity for all animals especially his canine companion, Foxy. Buck was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Buck is survived by his wife, Glenda King; daughters, Sheila Hittman and husband, Michael, Crystal Newport and her partner, Robert Rose; grandchildren, Brian Hittman, Shyla Newport, Caylee Clendenen, Destiny Newport, Hailey Newport, Paige Templeton, and Koby Hittman; mother, Clarice King; sister, Teresa King; sister-in-law, Nancy King; and several generations of nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to assist with the funeral expenses. The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM Saturday, June 2nd with the memorial service to follow at 11 AM at Valley Grove Baptist Church.
