Obituary for MSG Ret. Henry D. Ramsay MSG Ret. Henry D. Ramsay, 83, of Columbus, GA died May 18, 2018. A Celebration of Life service with Military Honors will be held 3:00 P.M. Friday, May 25, 2018 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Chaplain Allison Kennedy Owen officiating. A private interment will be held at Ft. Benning Main Post Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the services at the funeral home. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Ilse Gass Ramsay, daughters, Rosemary Hartsock (Dan) of Louisville, KY., Karen Ramsay (Windol Carnley) of Columbus, Ga., Connie Ramsay Austin (Rodney) of Columbus, Ga., son, Henry D. Ramsay, Jr. (Jane) of Harris County, Ga., sisters, Claudia Ramsay Bryant and Carey Wayne Mumaw. Four grandchildren, William, Connie, Shelby and Samuel.
