Mr. Charles David “Charlie” Noles, age 68, of Cedar Bluff, AL, died Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at Redmond Regional Medical Center. Mr. Noles was born July 6, 1949, in Summerville, GA, son of the late William Doyle and Beatrice Kathleen Clowdis Noles. He was Baptist by faith, and was retired from Roper. Mr. Noles enjoyed fishing and had won several bass fishing tournaments. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, William Dennis “Bill” Noles and Robert Michael Noles; and a sister, Linda Gayle Noles Ledbetter. Mr. Noles is survived by his wife, Linda Ann Craig Noles; son, Charles David “Chuck” (Amanda) Noles, Jr., step-sons, John (Donna) Hogue, Tony (Jennifer) Hogue, J.D. (Kim) Hogue; step-daughter, Sissy (Homer) Pruitt; sisters, Becky (Kenny) White, Betty Jean “Bet” Mitchell; grandson, Derick Tyler Noles; and several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Noles will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, June 1, 2018, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sanford DeBerry officiating. Interment will follow in Johnson Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Homer Pruitt, Terry Dooley, David Howard, Jack Cleveland, Jim Cleveland, Jerry Gilreath, and Paul Martin. Mr. Noles will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Thursday.
