Alberta D. Harrison, age 86, of Duluth, GA departed for heaven on May 25, 2018. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Perimeter Church (Chapel), in Duluth, GA. Mrs. Harrison, a native of Brunswick, GA, was a long-time member of the United Methodist Church. She graduated from Glynn Academy in Brunswick, GA and attended the University of Georgia, where she met her future husband, Dr. Clyde Harrison, Jr.. She was a member of the Interior Design Club of Atlanta and the Forest Park Garden Club. An avid traveler, she visited six continents but her favorite destination was the golden islands of St. Simons, GA. She loved tennis and golf and enjoyed surrounding herself with family and friends. She is survived by her husband of sixty-five years, Dr. Clyde Harrison Jr.; children, Clyde (Sherry) Harrison III and Lisa (Tom) Broe; grandchildren, Eric (Mary Catherine) Broe, Clyde Harrison IV, Jessica Harrison and Alana Broe; great grandchildren, Isabella Harrison, Patrick Harrison and Kai Broe.
