Fred Pasquale Suffredini 2018

Fred Pasquale Suffredini, of Hamden passed away May 8, 2018 in Whitney Manor. He was the husband of the late Margaret DelVecchio Suffredini. Born in Waterbury April 11, 1925, son of the late Antonio and Theresa Valdrighi Suffredini, Fred was a proud US Army veteran serving in the Pacific theatre during WWII and was awarded the Bronze Star. He retired from the US Postal Service as a supervisor after many years of service. Predeceased by his siblings: Rose Savo, Inez Foley, and Chet and John Suffredini, Fred is survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Fred’s family would like to extend their thanks to the doctors and staff at Yale New Haven Hospital and to the staff of Whitney Manor for the compassionate care they provided. Visiting hours will be held in the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. 11 Wooster Place Friday morning from 8:00-9:15. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10. Burial with Military honors in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rivers of Recovery (Northeast Chapter) PO Box 22326 Eagan, MN 55122.
