Obituary for Donna Holmgren Donna Mae Holmgren, 84, passed away May 24, 2018 at her home in Longmont, CO. She was born July 11, 1933 in Lead, SD to Charles and Emma (Bortz) Foss. Donna spent her early childhood in Lead and moved with her family to Rapid City, SD where she graduated from Rapid City High School. Donna spent many years as a child care provider in Rapid City and also assisting her daughter Cindy in Minnesota. She moved to Longmont in 2001. Donna was a member at LifeBridge Christian Church in Longmont and formerly at City Hill Church in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. She was an active participant at the Longmont Senior Center enjoying many activities including quilting, knitting and sewing. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Tim Holmgren and sister Maryann Teetfs Donna is survived by four children Michelle Morgan (John), Dayna McGuire (JD), Cindy Zian and Charles Holmgren (Patricia); daughter-in-law Kathy Holmgren; grandchildren, great grandchildren, brother Charles Foss (Sandy) and sister Enid Bjerke. A family memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation entrusted to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
