Carol A. Cressman-Walker, 71, of Palmer Township, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018 in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg.
Born January 15, 1947 in Easton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Robert D. Cressman, Sr. and Anna (Cummings) Cressman Marks.
Her husband of nearly 44 years, Destil L. “Bill” Walker, passed away April 6, 2016.
Carol retired from Just Born where she was employed for thirty years. She attended Easton Area High School.
She enjoyed shopping especially at Boscov’s and gardening. Carol was very family oriented and loved spending time with family and her grandchildren. She enjoyed monthly breakfasts with past co-workers and friends.
Carol attended River of God Fellowship Church and loved her Christian faith.
Surviving are four sons, Jeffrey S. Shiller, of Wilkes Barre, Stephen J. Shiller, of Bath, and twins, Matthew F. and Mark F. Walker, both of Allentown; a step-son, Chuck Bowman, of Cleveland, OH; a step-daughter, Maryjo Taylor, of Beaufort, SC; two brothers, Robert Cressman, Jr. and his wife Virginia, of Easton, and Ronald Cressman, of Phillipsburg, NJ; two sisters, Marion Deemer and her husband Robert, of Wilson Borough, and Sharon Koehler and her husband Mike, of West Easton; three grandchildren, Marissa, Stephanie and Sheldon; a great-grandson, Oliver; three step-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, David Cressman, and two sisters, Dorothy Barr and Jane Fucci.
Services will be held at 11am Wednesday in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampton St., Wilson Borough. Call Wednesday 10-11am in the funeral home. Burial will be in Hay’s Cemetery. Offer online condolences at www.strunkfh.com.
