RUIE F. DAVIS
Ruie F. Davis, 70, of Greenville, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at 3:12 pm Wednesday March 28, 2018 at her residence. She was born October 18, 1947 in West Liberty, Kentucky to the late Chet and Rhoda (Gambill) Young. She married Larry W. Davis, Sr. June 6, 1970 in Piqua and he survives.
Other survivors include three sons, Chet Davis, Larry Davis, Jr., Bradley Davis, all of Greenville; a daughter, Patty (Patrick) Eichelberger of Greenville; six grandchildren; three sisters, Clara (Jerry) Basham, Lisa (Jerry) Barbie, Bonnie Young; and two brothers, Steve Young, Roy (Yvette) Young. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Ray, Lloyd, Joe, Floyd, Woody; one sister, Helen Neves; and a granddaughter, Tiffany Eichelberger
Mrs. Davis was a wonderful homemaker, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed watching wrestling and Westerns, especially Bonanza, Gunsmoke and the Rifleman. She also loved watching Reba. She loved animals, especially her black cat Apollo and in her younger years she raised Rottweilers. She will be deeply missed by her loving family.
A service to honor her life will begin at 12 pm Monday April 2, 2018 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Wagner officiating. Burial will follow at Pearl Cemetery, Anna. Visitation will be held from 10 -12 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Dept. 41831, PO Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265.
