Obituary of James Engelken
James Henry Engelken, 89, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Saturday, March 24, 2018, at his residence in Doniphan.
Mr. Engelken was born February 18, 1929, in Ripley County, MO, to the late Louie & Violet (Elzy) Engelken. He retired as a self-employed farmer. Mr. Engelken enjoyed hunting and fishing.
On October 4, 1949, he was married to Marjorie Steele in Pocahontas, Arkansas. She survives.
Other survivors include; two daughters Judy Black of Paducah, KY & Jamie Guess of Billings, MO; one son Richard Engelken of Doniphan; one brother Fred Engelken of Jonesboro, AR; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
