Obituary of Donna Putman
Graveside services for Donna Sue Morgan Putman, Arp, will be at 10:00 am, Friday, March 30, 2018 at Rusk County Memorial Gardens, Henderson with Reverend Sam DeVille officiating. Arrangements are under direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.
Mrs. Putman passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018 in a Tyler hospital. She was born May 9, 1951 in Overton to the late Cecil Delmar and Johnella Mae Lindsey Morgan and was a graduate of West Rusk High School. She worked in public schools and several church nurseries. She loved children and loving on babies. Her grandchildren were her world and she loved spending time with them.
Besides her parents, Donna was also preceded in death by her husband, Terry Putman and two brothers, Cecil Morgan and Carlus Morgan.
She is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Holli DeAnn and Bryan Padgett of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Laurie Michelle McDonald and her fianc’e, Jessie Byrd of Arp, and Misty Rae and Floyd Line of Chapel Hill; a brother, Jamie Morgan of Arp; a sister, Glenda Underdown of Garland; seven grandchildren, Kourtney McDonald, Linzy McDonald, Ashley McDonald, Brandee King, Emilee King, Dalton Line, and Dillon Line; a great grandchild, Layne McDonald; and several nieces and nephews.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Kim McDonald, Brent Morgan, Ryan Underdown, Scott Morgan, Todd Morgan, Shea Morgan and Colby Miller.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Thursday, March 29.
