Obituary of Jamesie McEntyre
Jamesie Hosey McEntyre was born on July 25, 1959 to James and Daisy Hosey. She was a native of Bessemer, AL. She graduated from McAdory High School in 1977 and later graduated from Birmingham Southern with a Bachelor. Jamesie had a big heart and never meet a stranger. Jamesie passed away on March 25, 2018 in Talladega, AL at the age of 58. She was a resident of Lincoln, AL at the time of her passing, but had formerly lived in Magaret, AL. Jamesie was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Vincent Cooper and a son, Aubrey Smith. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Michael McEntyre; her two daughters, Jessaca McEntyre Martin (Jerry “Scooter”) and Jennafer McEntyre (Matthew Stowe); three grandchildren, Caleb Martin, age 11, Shelby Martin, age 8 and David Reed, age 17, as well as, many other children and grandchildren of the heart. A celebration of Jamesie’s life will be held at Cahaba Heights Baptist Church on Crosshaven Dr. in Vestavia on April 4, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will immediately follow at Cahaba Heights Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Gary Wilson will preside over the services.
