Obituary Sean Mathew Brearton, age 51, passed away on November 9th, 2019. Sean was born in Murray, Utah to Ron Banham and Susan Biesinger on November 3rd, 1968. He was later adopted by his stepfather, James Madison Brearton. He attended Alta High School in Sandy, Utah, and later served a mission in Santiago, Chile before attending college. Sean attended Snow College where he earned an Associates of Arts, and the University of Utah where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. Sean met Angela Jensen at Snow and they married on June 12th, 1992 in the Manti Temple. He was the proud father of two daughters: Marina Saldana and Isabella Brearton. An avid sports fan, Sean could often be found cheering on the Jazz, BYU football, and his daughters as they ice-skated. Sean enjoyed playing basketball, fishing, camping and being out in nature. He worked primarily in sales and customer service, bringing his warmth and humor to each interaction. Sean is survived by his ex-wife, Angela Jensen, daughters, Bella and Marina, father Jim Brearton and Jim’s wife, Pat. Surviving siblings are Tori January, Teri King, Kris Brearton, Kasi Brearton, Klint Brearton, and Shea Brearton. He will be missed by his nieces and nephews whom he adored and entertained at every opportunity. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 16th, at 11 am. Service will be held at the LDS chapel located at 4021 Shinnerock Dr. South Jordan, Utah. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to The Road Home or the Christmas Box House, two of Sean’s favorite charities.
