Obituary for Cathy Jean Bender Cathy Jean Bender, 54, of Warren departed this life on Saturday, September 28, 2019 after fighting a long time illness. She was born on March 28, 1965 in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of Richard and Ethel McWilliams Sheldon. On February 12, 2011, Cathy and William Bender were united in marriage. Cathy loved to go to the park with her children, going to bingo and spending time with family and friends. Loving memories of Cathy will be treasured by her children, her son, Michael Rumbaugh of Warren and her daughter, Lacey Belknap; her sisters, Cynthia (David) Hendrick of Warren and Sandra Francis of Warren; her brother, Mark Sheldon of Warren; her four nieces; one nephew; two great nieces and two great nephews and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father and mother and her beloved husband, William Bender. The family is in the process of planning a gathering… friends and family will be contacted with details.
