Larry Eugene Adams, 76, of Mercury Texas, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 3, 2023, in San Angelo, Texas. Larry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Larry was born on January 25, 1947, to Nelson and Bonnie Adams in Brady, Texas. Larry grew up in Mercury, Texas and graduated from Rochelle High School.
Larry married the love of his life, Barbara Adams on November 18, 1988, they recently celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary. Larry loved to hunt, watch the Dallas Cowboys and tell stories. Larry also loved his church, Redeemer Church in Brady, Texas.
Larry Adams is survived by his wife of 35 years, Barbara Adams of Mercury, daughter Nikki Stringer and husband Dean of Abilene, Texas, son Lance Adams and wife Tammy of Georgetown, Texas, daughter Tammy Harner and husband Jim of Sanger, Texas, son Jay Everitt and wife Melesa of Blanket, Texas, and daughter Angi Reno and husband Wade of Brownwood, Texas, 13 grandkids, 16 great grandkids, fur baby Sassy, nieces, extended family and friends.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson and Bonnie Adams and sister, Linda Hartcraft.
Graveside services for Larry Adams will be Thursday, December 7, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Cowboy Cemetery in Rochelle, Texas with Pastor Paden Behrens officiating.
Pallbearers will be Trey Harner, David Tepsic, Kwinton Reno, Brandon Guinn, Trey Crawford, Hayden Burnett and Craigan Tidwell.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Landon Hawkins, Tim Everitt, Cullan Tidwell and William Norris.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in memory of Larry Eugene Adams be made to Redeemer Church 200 W. 4th St. Brady, TX. 76825.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home of Brady.
