Raymond Louis Pitts, age 91, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023.
Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, December 23, 2023 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Speight officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. and again on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Raymond entered this life on May 26, 1932 in Montgomery County, TN to the late Ernest and Eva Davis Pitts. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, and had worked for Frosty Morn Packing Co.. Raymond became a Real Estate Broker for Byers and Harvey Real Estate, and eventually retired from ReMax Real Estate. Raymonds greatest joy in life was his family. He and Martha hosted a Friday night gathering for over 35 years.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Thomas Pitts, Horace Pitts, Joseph Pitts, Sr., Ruby Lee, Louise Davis.
Survivors include his loving wife of 71 years, Martha Nell Pitts; children, David (Debra) Pitts, Dennis (Karen) Pitts, Daniel (Carla) Pitts, and Karen (Mark) Thompson; grandchildren, Ben Pitts, Jacob Pitts, Page Thompson, Levi Pitts, and Luke Pitts; great-grandchildren, Ella, Kyla, Henry, Lincoln, and Bailey; sister, Christine DuPont.
Pallbearers will be Ben Pitts, Jacob Pitts, Luke Pitts, Darrell Cravath, Phillip Cravath, and Clayton Cravath.
