William’s Obituary
Funeral services for Mr. William Alfred “Billy” Gregory Jr. will be held at 1 PM Saturday, November 4, 2023, at the Shelton Hunt Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Greg McFadden officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 5 PM until 9 PM and Saturday from 9 AM until service time.
Mr. Gregory entered into rest on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at the age of 74 years, 10 months and 20 days. Born Sunday, December 5, 1948, to the late William Sr. and Betty Gregory (nee Vinson) in Jackson, Tennessee. Beloved ex-husband of Birdie. Loving father of Lowell Gregory, Chester Gregory, Tracey Brown and step-daughter, Barbara Minogue. Dear brother of Shirley Whitmore, Dorothy Ferguson, Steve Gregory and the late Betty and Rachel. Proud grandfather of Alyssa, Minko and Donavan. Our dear father-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend. Billy will be deeply missed by his love Birdie and by those who knew and loved him. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and boating on Carlyle Lake. Billy liked spending time playing bingo and watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball games.
