Mary (English) Gustafson, 75, of Ottawa, passed away on Friday December 22, 2023 at Pleasant View.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2023 at the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa.
Mary was born on April 10, 1948 in Chicago to Franics and Dorothy (McCarthy) English. She was a graduate of University of Illinois Chicago. She married Robert Gustafson on September 12, 1970. Mary enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by four children, Neil (Jill Webb) of Chicago, Betsy (Seth) Peimann of Lake St. Louis, MO, Tim (Brian Smith) Gustafson of Chicago and David (Andrea) Gustafson of Ottawa; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Robert.
Memorials may be directed to The Chicago Botanical Gardens.
