Obituary George Robinson Baynes, age 90, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023 after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Joy (Anniebelle) Baynes, two children – Nancy Baynes Rojas (Brian), and Cary Crenshaw Baynes (Jill), and four amazing grandchildren, Sydney and Jacob Rojas, and Blaise and Cutler Baynes; all of whom he adored. George was born and raised in Summerfield, NC, spent 5 years in the Navy, he graduated from East Carolina College (now University), and settled in Richmond after college graduation. He was a long time member of Church of the Epiphany. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
