Obituary Steven Truby Webb, age 79, of Walnut Cove, NC, passed away December 22, 2022. Steve is survived by his wife of 23 years, Debbie, and his sons, Monty, Steve Jr., and Mark, and predeceased by his daughter Kim. He is also survived by his siblings, Faye Stone, Kevin, and Stella Rights. He is predeceased by his brother, Bobbie, and sister Kaye. Steve is also survived by eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Steve was born in Laytonsville, MD, and was raised in Maryland and North Carolina. Steve served as a light weapons infantryman staff sergeant in the US Army from 1960-1966 while stationed at Fort Lewis in Tacoma, Washington. Steve lived life to the fullest. He loved breeding and showing world class Appaloosa horses. He was an avid reader, history buff, and loved to travel. He was particularly passionate about researching ancestral history. The family is grateful to know that Steve is reunited with his parents, Frazier and Amelia, and Bobbie, Kaye and Kim, in heaven. A private family celebration of life will be held.
