View Tribute Book Robert Steveon Tarlton, 68, of Union County passed away at his home on Tuesday, October 4, 2022. Steve was born September 8, 1954, in Union County to the late Raeford and Jessie Bea Tarlton. Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm, Sunday, October 9, 2022, at Love Baptist Church, 707 Deese Rd, Monroe, NC 28110. Burial will follow at Shiloh Advent Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends and family prior to the service from 1:30 pm until 2:45 pm in the church sanctuary. Steve is survived by his wife, Mary Tarlton; his daughter Cindy Haigler (Johnny), sons Robbie Tarlton (Lindy) and Brandon Tarlton (Rachel), and daughter Daphne Tarlton, along with his grandchildren. Steve loved his family and friends and enjoyed playing golf. Steve was proud to be a Mason and Shriner. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Hospice of Union County, 700 W Roosevelt Blvd, Monroe, NC 28110 or to Love Baptist Church, 707 Deese Rd, Monroe, NC 28110.
