Randal Scott Knutson, age 52, of Beresford, South Dakota died of natural causes Thursday, September 29, 2022. He was born February 8, 1970 in Mitchell, SD, a beloved son of Harlan and Carol Knutson. Randy was confirmed at Scandia Lutheran Church in 1985 and graduated from Centerville High School in 1988. He attended the University of South Dakota in Vermillion and Southeast Technical Institute in Sioux Falls. Randy worked at Sturdevant’s Auto Parts for over 20 years. Currently he was employed by K&M Tire in Beresford, SD as a route delivery driver and he enjoyed it thoroughly. His love and passion were spending time with his dogs, Emma and Tilla; they were his pride and joy. He also loved taking pictures of wildlife, nature, and of course, Emma and Tilla. Randy’s latest adventure was tackling the different ways of smoking and BBQing meat. He is survived by his parents, Harlan and Carol Knutson; siblings, Jeff Knutson, Doug (Wendy) Knutson, Stephanie (Tony) O’Toole; several nieces and nephews; a great niece, and many friends and relatives. Randy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fern and Delmar Payson, and Johnny and Dorothy Knutson. Blessed be his memory. Funeral services will be 10AM Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Scandia Lutheran Church in Centerville, SD. Burial will follow at Holland Cemetery, rural Centerville.
