Nickolas A. Vasellas, 72, of Felton, died on December 15, 2022 at Newport Meadows Nursing Center. Born at home in Red Lion on January 1, 1950, he was the son of the late Harry and Carrie (Urey) Vasellas. He was the husband of Barbara L. (Landis) Vasellas. He was a 1970 graduate of Red Lion High School and retired from Abel Construction in 2019 after 32 years of service. Nickolas enjoyed working on his property, building, mowing, helping or and anything to stay busy until his Lewy Body Dementia diagnosis when his life changed forever. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter Angela Brenneman of York, two brothers Woodrow Vasellas of Felton and James Vasellas of Bedford, and a sister Agnes Roland of Mann’s Choice. He was preceded in death by his son Nickolas H. Vasellas, two sisters Pat Dashler and Darlene Fitzkee, and four brothers Ed Urey, John Vasellas, Sterling Vasellas and Harry Vasellas. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 11:00 am at Guinston E.P.C., 14130 Guinston Forge Road, Airville, PA 17302 with Rev. Dr. Daniel R. Moore officiating. A viewing will be held from 10:00 am until 11:00 am Tuesday at the church. A private burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Guinston E.P.C.
